Marty Worwood (lead)
Marty is the "Old Guy" of the group. So it goes without saying that he’s been singing the longest. His mom had him singing at local functions as early as age 6. During his Junior High and High School years, he was the leader of a 5 piece rock band. (This was about the time that Todd and Susan were being born). He’s a true child of the 60's which gives him a great "feel" for the Cad’s music.
His special affection for a'capella singing began around 1974 when he was recruited as the tenor for "The Latter Day Sounds" a popular barbershop quartet. Marty was a member of BYU's "Young Ambassadors" where he was able to tour around the world doing what he loves best . . . . entertaining.
For Marty, the Cads represent the best of all worlds. The combination of Rock & Roll with a'capella vocals fits him to a tee.
Marty currently resides in South Jordan with his wife Becky, and their 6 children.
